Mercedes currently holds a 40% stake on Formula One Team McLaren, Ron Dennis and Mansour Ojjech each hold 15%, but Mercedes plans to extend it to a majority share:

Germany’s Daimler AG’s Mercedes plans to extend its stake in Formula One team McLaren to a majority share, Auto Motor und Sport magazine reported on Wednesday which could lead to the departure of the team’s long-time boss Ron Dennis.

Ron Dennis has lead McLaren as a Formula 1 winner 2 times in 1998 and 1999 with Mika Hakkinen, but later in 2007 McLaren were found guilty of spying on rivals Ferrari and excluded from the constructors title race which they looked set to win.

The big question is who will take the control of McLaren Mercedes after his departure?
