Google AdSense Publishers .. the Golden Era Has Long Way Gone
You maybe feel the same way as the rest of us here, as last night I met nine AdSense publishers and heard ALL of them complaining how AdSense pays very low lately. I got only $29 (read: twenty nine dollars) from a huge 600++ clicks, the second person said the he had received 17 clicks for less than $0.17 (it means less than a cent per click), next person complained that he only received $0.30 for over 50 clicks (duh..).
So what is wrong with Google AdSense payouts lately?
One of our senior AdSense Publisher, gave his thought that some Adwords advertisers drives traffic to their website(s) (via AdWords ofcourse) with as low as 1 cent per click maximum bidding, the driven traffic will be used to generate money via different cost per click advertising.
While AdSense Arbitrage has been disabled by google as per this June, another ‘Arbitrage’ still up and continuing to earn dollar. You can find tons of websites doing this kind of tricks, generating traffic via AdWords to drive audience into websites with nothing but advertisement as it contents. Indeed, the AdWords still the best advertising source, it drives a good and legit traffic
So how we overcome low payouts that is caused by this kind of AdWords Advertiser ?
The only thing Publishers can do is to filter the Advertisement, it can be accessed via Google AdSense Publishers account, under the AdSense Setup tab, choose Competitive Ad Filter. To filter Ads is a ‘piece of a cake’ .. But how we recognize or check where is the Arbitrage website, where is the real website? Since the Competitive Ad Filter is limited only for 200 entry?
One Killer Tips: Go to your website, and preview the ads via google adsense preview tools and check the ads with “Find ..“, or “Search ..” in the beginning of the ads description, check this website .. if it contains nothing but advertisements .. you know what you have todo. (Beside the AdSense Preview Tools, labnol also have the same powerful tool named AdSense SandBox, and don’t forget digitalpoint’s).
And did I mention that the Competitive Ad Filter is limited ONLY for 200 entry? Err .. actually we need to block the ads via 2 different url: without www (e.g: mydomainname.com) and with www (e.g: www.mydomainname.com), so it will be 100 maximum and not 200 entry ) (thank to Pogung that pointed this out)
Hmm .. I imagine that I can get back to the time when I got a hundred dollars of less than 300 clicks.

You all are idiots, adsense pays differently for different ads, its all about the topic of the site and the site’s standing with the adsense program, stop trying to scam the system and try and learn something about how the program works, you can still get payouts of over $1 per click for certain topics.
